Today I am going to share with you, a story straight from Albuquerque Comic Con, as to why Ryan Hurst (Harry “Opie” Winston, Sons of Anarchy) is totally a stand up guy. We’ve all heard stories on how the Sons of Anarchy cast is so gracious and kind to their fans, and this past weekend, I was witness to just how gracious and generous Ryan himself really is. I met Ryan this past weekend at the Albuquerque Comic Con, and wow, do I really have an amazing story for you guys.
The iconic 1946 Harley Davidson E “Knucklehead” motorcycle that belonged to John “JT” Teller (John Newmark/Nicholas Guest) in the popular biker drama series Sons of Anarchy can be yours (for the price of $75,700). The actual bike from the show is up for sale, and if you’ve been looking to own an authentic piece of show memorabilia, now is your chance. This HD “E” Knucklehead motorcycle was rented by the FX studio for the filming of the show and was later sold to the current owner.

It’s the news we’ve all been long waiting for, SOA Fanatics! FX Networks has announced that they will film the pilot episode for Kurt Sutter’s new Mayans spin-off series! Kurt will direct the pilot episode himself, and filming is expected to begin in March 2017. Mayans MC is the next chapter in the Sons of Anarchy saga, and will tell the story of Mayans prospect EZ Reyes (actor unknown at this point) – a member who struggles with his desire for vengeance against the cartel and his need for respect from the women (yes, women) he loves.
We are now officially less than a month away from Christmas, SOA Fanatics! Have you began to shop for all of the Sons of Anarchy fans on your Christmas list this year? If not, fear not, because today, we’re giving you the ultimate list of 20 badass Christmas gift ideas for all of the Sons of Anarchy fans on your list! You won’t want to miss this!
Brady Bunch mom Florence Henderson, who was best known for her role as Carol Brady on the comedy sitcom, has died at the age of 82. She passed away on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and her death has been confirmed by her publicist, David Brokaw. She began her decades-long career as an ingénue soprano in stage musicals in the 1950s, and was making a film in Norway in 1969 when she was asked to appear in the pilot episode of “The Brady Bunch”.
Who ever said you can’t have some rock and roll with your Christmas tunes? Back in 2008, hard-rock singer/songwriter Alice Cooper released a totally badass version of the 1934 “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”, and it’s infused with all of the extravagant and theatrical fashion we’d always expect from Alice Cooper. From the 2008 Christmas hard-rock compilation album We Wish You A Metal Xmas and A Headbanging New Year, this version of the classic Christmas tune will have you headbanging with some holiday spirit!
Details surrounding Sons of Anarchy Executive Producer Kurt Sutter’s new Mayans Spin-Off series have been scarce – for a very long time – so when we say we have news about the highly anticipated series, you’d better be paying attention. It has officially been confirmed that Emilio Rivera – who portrayed Mayans Club President Marcus Alvarez on the original Sons of Anarchy series – has taken a role for the Mayans Spin-Off.
Legendary songwriter and performer Leonard Cohen, who is best know for his work on the wildly popular song ‘Hallelujah’ has passed away at the age of 82. His work, spanning a time period of nearly 50 years, included songs that touched on many controversial subjects over the decades, dealing with love and hate, sex, spirituality, war and peace, as well as ecstasy and depression. He performed ‘Come Healing’ for the Sons of Anarchy soundtrack, which played in the opening episode of Season 6.
To say that Sons of Anarchy Executive Producer Kurt Sutter was feeling the sadness, shock, rage, and confusion following the Election only two days ago would be a vast understatement. He, like many other Americans, is upset regarding the Election results, and after sharing his feelings via Twitter on Election night (see Related Article link below), he has now penned a long, and elaborate response to his fans – those questioning his feelings regarding Presidential Elect Donald Trump – asking what he feels are the important questions involved in this emotional, yet essential discussion. Be prepared to read for a while – Kurt held nothing back, and as we’ve said, it is a long and elaborate read.
No joke, Ron Perlman (Clay Morrow, Sons of Anarchy) took to the internet today to announce his bid for President of The United States for our next election year, 2020. Now that it’s been confirmed for us that anyone can run for the Presidency and get elected for the position, why not add another celebrity name to the list of US Presidential wannabes? I mean, Ron was already the President of a fictitious motorcycle club, so why not try his hand at running an entire country?
Sons of Anarchy Executive Producer Kurt Sutter is none too happy about the results of yesterday’s Presidential Election here in the United States of America, and he has taken to Twitter to express his feelings regarding the win of the now 45th United States President, Donald Trump. Kurt knows a few things about Presidents – after all he gave us two complex, twisted, and crooked SAMCRO Presidents – and knows what it takes for a man to be a true leader.
Danny Trejo (Romeo Parada, Sons of Anarchy) is yet another victim of a celebrity internet death hoax. News of his death spread across the internet quickly this week, causing sadness and concern among Danny Trejo fans worldwide. The rumor gained rapid speed on Sunday (November 6, 2016) afternoon, after a R.I.P. Danny Trejo Facebook page surfaced, and attracted over a million ‘likes’. The “About Page” section contained a very believable account of Danny’s supposed death.
YouTuber MrJkDavid is a SOA Fanatic who reached out to us on one of our fanpages, asking us to share his very own Sons of Anarchy tribute video, named “Anarchism”. Who would we be if we said no? Not the most awesome Sons of Anarchy fan blog out there, that’s for sure! But since we are, we’re going to honor MrJkDavid’s request and share his epically awesome Sons of Anarchy fan tribute video.
Admittedly, this is one of the more strange things we’ve seen Sons of Anarchy alumni Tommy Flanagan (Filip “Chibs” Telford) do…but we’ll roll with it. Just recently he starred in yet another music video, this time with a collective soul band out of Manchester, UK, named The Winachi Tribe. The name of the song is A Room With A Zoo, and the video features Tommy floating and dancing around all angelic-like. It’s a far stretch from his days as Chibs, the leather-clad biker outlaw with reason.

Sons of Anarchy Season 1, Episode 5 – “Giving Back”
Last week, we shared an epic photo gallery with you all, of 8 Sons of Anarchy cast members when they were young (see Related Article link below). It was pretty cool, if we must say so ourselves! Well, this week, we have found a quasi-video version of that post – which is undoubtedly just as cool – and we couldn’t wait to share it with you all! It’s so interesting to look back into the past of some of our favorite actors and actresses, and seriously, having them be Sons of Anarchy related is just an added bonus.
So much happened in 7 years of Sons of Anarchy. So much love and family. So much loss and desperation. So much right clouded by so much gone wrong, layered in between lifelong lessons of strength, weakness, hope, and despair. It was one hell of a series, that we as fans found ourselves connected to on such a personal level. That’s why today, we find it fitting to share a recap video of all seven seasons of the show – so if you’re one of those fans just now watching for the first time – consider this your SPOILER ALERT – because this video is taking us from the very beginning of the series right up to the tragic, heartbreaking final scene.
Two kinds of people in the street… the ones walking on it, and the ones living in it. Who are you?
Sons of Anarchy’s David Labrava (Happy Lowman) has been a pretty busy dude lately, and today we’re sharing with you his latest genius creation, a film named “Street Level”. In true David fashion, the film is Rated R for disturbing content and behavior, that includes drug use and addiction, some sexual material, and obscene language. This sounds like a movie we can watch already, and we haven’t even posted the synopsis! As a bonus, there’s a few familiar faces from Sons of Anarchy in the film…you’ll just have to keep reading to find out who!
Can you believe we’re already 2 full days past Halloween 2016? That means there’s only 363 days left until Halloween next year. Hah! Last week, we shared with you the story of 14 year old Alexandra Johnston; a young girl and avid Sons of Anarchy fan who is currently battling late-stage Ewing’s Sarcoma. The disease is a cancer that occurs within and around the bones, and she’s battling it now for not the first time, but the second in the last 3 years. Our last post about her (see Related Article link below) detailed an incredible Sons of Anarchy surprise, that was delivered to her at her home in Londonberry, Ireland by 30 bikers. Today, we’re sharing how Sons of Anarchy’s very own Theo Rossi (Juan Carlos “Juice” Ortiz) took the time to Face-Time Alexandra.
Kevin Diepenbrock is a motorcyclist who is lucky to be alive. He was out on his motorcycle in rural Tennessee on Saturday, October 22, travelling down a road known to locals as “The Dragon”. He was seriously injured after he wrecked his motorcycle along a stretch of the dangerous road, after he and his friend Phillip Polito crashed into each other. Polito was killed in the crash, but Diepenbrock was launched from his bike and sent tumbling over 100 feet downward, into a ravine – out of the sights of traffic.
If you follow Katey Sagal (Gemma Teller-Morrow, Sons of Anarchy) as closely as we know you all do, then you already know that she’s visited Craig Ferguson, the former Late-Late Show host, more than a handful of times on that particular show. There’s a lot of talent and humor up on that stage between Katey and Craig; they’re both remarkable comedians. That’s why today, we’re sharing a 2014 interview Katey did with Craig, back when she was still Gemma, but after she won the Golden Globe for that character portrayal.

Alexandra Johnston is an avid Sons of Anarchy fan. She is also a courageous 14 year-old girl who is fighting Ewing’s Sarcoma, a cancer that occurs within and around the bones, for not the first time, but the second in the last 3 years. Alexandra is from Londonberry (oka Derry), which is a city in Northern Ireland. At this time, she has cancer in nearly every part of her young body, and has undergone over 30 rounds of chemotherapy. That is why her family arranged for her to receive a really special Sons of Anarchy surprise, and we’ll be sharing the heartfelt moment right here on SOA Fanatic with all of you, today.

Sons of Anarchy Season 6, Episode 10: Huang Wu
Have you ever found yourself wondering what some of the Sons of Anarchy cast members looked like when they were younger? Did Charlie Hunnam (Jax Teller) have a super cute baby face? Was Katey Sagal (Gemma Teller-Morrow) a natural beauty, even in her younger years? Was Tommy Flanagan (Filip “Chibs” Telford) just as handsome in his twenties? If these questions sound like you, then you are going to love the photo gallery we have in store for you today.
We’ve said it close to a thousand times, and we’ll never grow tired of saying it – we love all of the video tributes that are created by all of you awesome SOA Fanatics – and we’ll never tire of watching them and sharing them. Today, we’ve come across a super tragic tribute video to Sons of Anarchy’s Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam), and we cannot wait for all of you to watch it! We have no idea this time around who created it – so if it was you, give yourself a shout out in the comments below!
There is so much chatter following The Walking Dead’s Season 7 premiere, and most of it doesn’t even have to do with the fact that we now know who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan)’s killed, but with how he killed those characters. Bear with me as I try not to post blatant spoilers here in the first paragraph (but LOOK OUT – spoilers are posted below). Considering the how of it all seems to matter more than the who, we’re compelled to ask a question, seeing as death wasn’t a total stranger in Sons of Anarchy either – which of the two shows is more gruesome?
54 years ago today, the world got to meet the badass that became Sons of Anarchy’s very own Happy Lowman – that’s right, on this day in 1964, David Labrava was born! Despite having been raised in Europe, he was born in Miami, FL. Best known for his role as Happy, he is also a real life Hell’s Angel and a motorcycle enthusiast, as well as a writer and tattoo artist.
Have you ever wondered exactly who the SAMCRO First 9 members were? We know that John Teller (Victor Newmark/Nicholas Guest) and Piermont “Piney” Winston (William Lucking) founded SAMCRO in 1967 following their service as paratroopers in the Vietnam War, and we also know that former Club President Clay Morrow (Ron Perlman) was also a First 9 member, but can we list off who the other Redwood Originals were? Today, we’re making a list of all of the original SAMCRO guys, so stay tuned. WARNING: Some spoilers are contained below.
As a fan of Theo Rossi (Juan Carlos “Juice” Ortiz, Sons of Anarchy) – which of his characters do you prefer? Do you like Juice from Sons of Anarchy or Shades from Luke Cage better? What role do you think Theo blends into the best? Don’t get us wrong, Juice was badass in and of himself (well, he at least had his moments), but Shades is all around badass. So we guess the question is, which character is more badass? Theo answered the question himself, and we’ll be sharing that with you today.

Sons of Anarchy Season 4, Episode 13: To Be, Act 1
If you kept up with the very recent New York Film Festival (NYFF) 2016, then you know Charlie Hunnam (Jackson “Jax” Teller, Sons of Anarchy) and the Lost City of Z crew made highly anticipated appearances at the event – some both on and off the big screen – as the film had its first world premiere at the festival on its closing night. The premiere lineup at NYFF also included films The 13th and 20th Century Women.
So, it’s been a while since we did a #TBT (Throwback Thursday) post, and a special member of our Jax/Charlie Hunnam Fanatics Group (you know who you are – thank you!) shared this sweet Charlie Hunnam (Jackson “Jax” Teller, Sons of Anarchy) #TBT vid with us this morning, and we just have to pass it along to all of you SOA Fanatics. It still amazes us how much Charlie has grown and changed over the years!
We don’t know about you, but we could totally use some more Tommy Flanagan (Filip “Chibs” Telford, Sons of Anarchy) in our lives. That’s why today we’re sharing a fan-made tribute video of Tommy, and when we say you need to see it, we totally mean it. It’s a video photo collage of the beautiful Scot, and the music that YouTuber ByrnePerfection chose to overlay into it is total perfection.

If you’re a Sons of Anarchy fan that has also been watching ‘Fear The Walking Dead‘, the ‘Walking Dead‘ prequel show set in a zombie-ravaged Los Angeles, CA, you already know that one Sons of Anarchy star holds one of the major roles of the show. Kim Dickens, who portrayed the mommy-fetish escort queen Colette Jane in Sons of Anarchy portrays Madison Clark in Fear The Walking Dead, and one of her old Sons of Anarchy co-stars is now joining the cast.
You guys loved this so much last year, that we seriously couldn’t say no to doing it again this year! Seriously, Halloween is almost here, and we’re on a mission to have as much fun with the Holiday as possible! What better way to do that than to involve our favorite guys and gals from SAMCRO?
So, you guys will be totally proud of me – I got a friend, who had never watched Sons of Anarchy – to not only watch, but marathon all 7 seasons of the show. He made it through in record time (I think he beat me and I did it in 2 weeks), and one very important debate has stirred between the two of us as a result. Where is Tig (Trager, Kim Coates)’s Men of Mayhem patch? Everyone else has one, so why doesn’t he?
This is seriously one of the most ridiculous things we have seen lately. A man is innocently pumping gas into his car, when suddenly another man approaches him and begins to berate him for wearing a Sons of Anarchy leather vest. As Sons of Anarchy fans, we tend to enjoy wearing the merchandise we can get our hands on, and we are fully aware of how awesome having a vest is – even if it is a knock-off – so this exchange we’re sharing with you today is totally going to blow your mind.
It’s October, SOA Fanatics! Do you know what that means? Halloween 2016 is right around the corner, less than a month away, and we’re soon to become your Sons of Anarchy Halloween Headquarters! We’re kicking it off right this year, with 10 seriously badass Sons of Anarchy Jack-O-Lanterns! These are some of the coolest Jack-O-Lanterns we’ve ever seen, and we don’t doubt that we also shared them last year, but that’s ok!
Did you know that Sons of Anarchy’s Drea De Matteo (Wendy Case) hosts her very own reality show? It’s called The Muthaship and showcases the very best of Drea and her life. Within the show, we can get an exclusive behind the scenes look at Drea, her family, and what she calls her “Motley Crew”. The Muthaship began just a week before Sons of Anarchy ended, and today we have the very first episode to share with you.
The Burquenos have a lot to talk about on this fine Monday, after we received a big visit from Sons of Anarchy’s Kim Coates (Alexander “Tig” Trager) this past weekend. Kim, who is currently filiming in nearby Santa Fe, NM, visited Albuquerque, NM, The Duke City, and lead the Reaper Run Motorcycle Awareness ride from Duke City Harley Davidson to Thunderbird Harley Davidson in the city. He threw a VIP party after the ride, and we have an exclusive participant interview as well as photos and video from the event.

Sons of Anarchy Season 5, Episode 11: To Thine Own Self
If you’re a Facebook follower of Danny Trejo (Romeo Parada, Sons of Anarchy), then you already know that he’s a bold, opinionated, politically charged person, and in no way does he hide that fact. He uses his Facebook page to promote serious political discussions, and allows for his fans to debate among one another. Given this election period, there’s been mass discussions on his page about the election, and we’ve now learned that he’s created a hilarious line of t-shirts, all politically charged, of course.
Evan and Ryder Londo are the pair of identical twins that made Sons of Anarchy’s Abel Teller the young, twisted up son of Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam), Tara Knowles-Teller (Maggie Siff), and Wendy Case (Drea De Matteo). They are the sole reason that Gemma Teller-Morrow (Katey Sagal)’s storyline wrapped up the way it did, and the primary link between several characters on the show.
If you are both a fan of Sons of Anarchy and a fan of the Grand Theft Auto video games, then we’re about to make your day. As a fan of both, have you ever wished you could combine the worlds of SAMCRO and GTA into one, big, mayhem filled world? If so, then you’ll be anxiously awaiting the release of Grand Theft Auto 5, which is doing just that. Honestly, Grand Theft Auto is the Sons of Anarchy of the video gaming industry, is it not?
Sons of Anarchy’s Tommy Flanagan (Filip “Chibs” Telford) has definitely been showing us his musical side lately, after his cameo in KoRn’s latest music video “Rotting In Vain”, and now the news that he’ll be singing along to The Ballad Of Lefty Brown here in the near future. The film, based in 1889, tells the struggle of when Congress declared that the Frontier be closed. It too, is a Western Film, and is set to be directed by Jared Moshe.
