Sons of Anarchy’s Tommy Flanagan (Filip “Chibs” Telford) has definitely been showing us his musical side lately, after his cameo in KoRn’s latest music video “Rotting In Vain”, and now the news that he’ll be singing along to The Ballad Of Lefty Brown here in the near future. The film, based in 1889, tells the struggle of when Congress declared that the Frontier be closed. It too, is a Western Film, and is set to be directed by Jared Moshe.

Tommy will portray a US Marshal by the name of Tom Harrah. He was once a great gunfighter, and in the film, struggles greatly with his addiction to alcohol. Critics are calling the film a coming-of-age Western for the 65 year old man. This certainly is the total opposite of Tommy during his Sons of Anarchy days, as the audience for the show is a world’s difference from the demographic of this film.

Tommy will costar alongside Bill Pullman, Jim Caviezel, Peter Fonda and Kathy Baker in the film. Works also coming up for next for Tommy are Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2 and the Iraq War film Sand Castle. Gersh, the Curtis Brown Group in the UK, and Untitled Entertainment represent Tommy as an actor. There currently is no release date set for the film.
