This might end up being the coolest video we share with you SOA Fanatics all month long! We’ve managed to come across “Not So Easy – A Motorcycle Safety Film“; an old-school motorcycle safety video done up in 1973 by Evel Knievel and Peter Fonda, and while the tips may not apply to modern day motorcycles and their riders, it’s definitely an interesting piece of history to witness.
Peter Fonda narrates the ageless video, which combines the riding tips with a corroborative video on some old-fashioned AMF Harley Davidson motorcycles. Peter originally rode with the Easy Riders back in his heyday. Evel Knievel, who is known for his insane motorcycle stunts, rivals Steve McQueen as one of the craziest motorcycle riders, even tot his day. From 1965-1980, Evel suffered from over 430 bone fractures while attempting over 75 different jumps.
Check out the timeless video below, and tell us in the comments how incredible of a piece of motorcycle history this is! Make sure to reserve some time for this one, as it is nearly 20 minutes in length. Don’t hesitate to share it with your friends and family, so they can witness a day in age where Peter Fonda and Evel Knievel dominated the motorcycle community. How awesome do you think their bikes are in this video?
