Did you know, that back in 2008, Katey Sagal (Gemma Teller-Morrow, Sons of Anarchy) did a cameo on CBS’s hit show, CSI (Crime Scene Investigation)? It was during the show’s 8th season, and Katey guest-starred as a character named Annabelle Fundt/Natasha Steele in the 16th episode of that season, “Two and A Half Deaths“. It was a super fun episode, a crossover of two of CBS’s hit shows – CSI and Two and A Half Men.

The character of Annabelle Fundt was based on Roseanne Barr, an actress who Producer Chuck Lorre believed behaved poorly while he was running her eponymous blockbuster TV show Roseanne; the title font for the show-within-a-show “Annabelle” is even identical to the one that had been used for Roseanne back when it was running. So, in essence, Katey got to play a character based on the infamous Roseanne. Cool!

Check out Katey’s cameo in CSI below, and tell us in the comments if you saw the episode while it was on television! Isn’t Katey bold and hilarious in the show? Do you see the resemblances between her CSI character and that of Roseanne Barr? And seriously, if Chuck Lorre was so unimpressed with Roseanne at the time, do you understand why he epitomized her through Katey Sagal?
