Maggie Siff – “My Characters Keep Getting Killed Off…”

If you’re noticing a pattern with Sons of Anarchy’s Maggie Siff (Tara Knowles-Teller), then chances are you’re right. All of the major television characters she’s played so far have been killed off before the end of a series – except one, for now, but the series is still young. Her Mad Men character, Rachel Menken was killed off after a battle with Leukemia, and well, we all know what happened to Tara in Sons.

We’ve found an interview from the Today Show, done in March 2016, where Maggie discusses the deaths of her past characters and what her hopes are for her most current role as Wendy Rhoades in Showtime’s Billions. She’s hoping Wendy doesn’t meet a similar fate as Rachel and Tara, and it’s safe to say we’re behind her on that one. She’s poured a lot of herself into Wendy’s character, and she’s so like Tara, we think it helps to fill our Sons of Anarchy gap.

Take a look at the interview below, and tell us in the comments if you want to see Wendy Rhoades survive, unlike Rachel Menken and Tara Knowles-Teller. If you haven’t yet watched Billions, you can catch up on it with Showtime online – the entire first season is available – before Season 2 is set to premiere. Which of Tara’s characters do you like the best?
