If you haven’t yet heard, legendary musician Prince (Prince Rogers Nelson), age 57, was found dead at his studio in Minnesota earlier this morning. While we normally wouldn’t run a post such as this one, we find it appropriate to, as Sons of Anarchy Executive Producer Kurt Sutter was a huge fan of Prince, and has already publicly expressed how hurt he is by the news.

In a single post on Facebook, Kurt says,

I can’t fucking take much more of this…

followed by the hashtags #bowienowprince and #deadgenius. Kurt is expressing, in his own way, the same way many of us feel following the news. Many people are saying that 2016 is the year that music died, and as the months pass, that statement seems to be ringing more and more true.

Prince was widely known as an innovator; his eclectic work, flamboyant stage presence, and wide vocal range are what everyone remembers him for as a performer. Take a moment to remember the legendary musician with this video of When Doves Cry. Please feel free to leave your messages of condolences in the comment section below! We know doves are crying all over the world tonight – rest in peace, Prince.
