We all know Ed Sheeran best for his incredible musical talents, after all, he is the artist who brought us “Make It Rain”, the epic Sons of Anarchy soundtrack song from the penultimate episode of the series. But how much of his acting side are we really familiar with? So far, we know he was cast for a recurring role on Kurt Sutter (Executive Producer, Otto Delaney, Sons of Anarchy)’s former series, The Bastard Executioner, but we don’t really know his thoughts on acting instead of singing.
Apparently, Ed is cool with the idea of acting, though he reveals he has a difficult time remembering lines. He’s also hesitant with the idea of adding too many different titles to his resume, as he admits in an exclusive Access Hollywood interview he did back in September, about his role in the Bastard Executioner. He says he dislikes when others introduce themselves to him as an “actress/musician/model/businessman/tech”, and that he prefer artists pick one skill that they’re good at and stick with it.
We’re cool with whatever Ed Sheeran chooses to do – we love him no matter what! Check out his interview with Access Hollywood below, and tell us in the comments if you’re surprised by what he’s had to say! Did you like his acting role in the Bastard Executioner, or do you prefer to view him as a musician instead?
