Maggie Siff (Tara Knowles-Teller, Sons of Anarchy) has joined the Showtime family with a new law-based drama, ‘Billions’. She co-stars with Emmy and Golden Globe award winners Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis for the fast paced depiction of 21st century wealth and what it takes to chase the American dream.
Written and produced by Brian Koppleman, David Levien, and Andrew Ross Sorkin, ‘Billions” combines the worlds of super-wealth, high influence, and mass corruption as lived out in two highly ambitious and oppositional characters: the hard-charging, politically connected U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti) and brilliant billionaire hedge fund king, Bobby “Axe” Axelrod (Lewis).
Maggie Siff plays Wendy Rhoades, a fierce psychiatrist who ends up on the opposite side of the drama from her US Attorney husband. Check out the trailer below – you’ll see that Siff’s ‘Billions’ character isn’t far off from having the passionate and cutthroat qualities we loved seeing in Tara.
‘Billions” premieres Sunday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00PM EST on Showtime. The show will also be available through Apple and Roku devices, as well as for online subscribers.
