While it’s just speculation at this time, Hollywood is a buzz about Guillermo De Toro and the possibility of him producing Justice League Dark after finishing Justice League Part One, set to release sometime in 2017. Amid the talk, the possibility for Ron Perlman (Clay Morrow, Sons of Anarchy) to be cast as The Swamp Thing for the movie has arose, which as you can see in the above image, would be the perfect fit for him.

Having been a long time collaborator of Del Toro’s in the past, Perlman is no stranger to having to use prostethics to create authentic characters – he suited up in prostethic make up for Hellboy, and Hellyboy II, as well as Beauty and The Beast. If you follow his Facebook page, you’ll also know that Perlman has been pushing Del Toro to start working on a Hellboy III, and has yet to make the plea successful.

Rumor has it, that even if Del Toro himself doesn’t take on Justice League Dark, he’s put Ron Perlman forward for the role anyway, which is great news! Take a look at the gallery we’ve put together for you, of Ron Perlman in some of his Guillermo Del Toro directed roles. Let us know in the comments if you think he’d be the perfect choice for portraying The Swamp Thing!
