So we already know that Charlie Hunnam (Jackson “Jax” Teller, Sons of Anarchy) is a one-of-a-kind actor, who can literally take any role he’s given and turn it into something us, as fans, will remember forever. We loved him in his role as Jax, our love for him deepened as we watched him portray Jay in Deadfall, and we feared for him as he played Gavin in The Ledge. Today, we’re going to take a look at his role in Pacific Rim – as a character named Raleigh Beckett.
Raleigh was an honorable guy – he knew in his heart what was best, and fought for what he felt he was right. One of his best lines from the movie? It was insightful, deep, and thought-provoking. Take a look:
“When I was a kid, whenever I’d feel small or lonely, I’d look up at the stars. Wondered if there was life up there. Turns out I was looking in the wrong direction.”
