Terrible Tommy
Ryan Hurst as Opie Winston on Sons of Anarchy

Do you remember Season 4: Episode 12 – Burnt and Purged Away? Opie (Winston, Ryan Hurst) finds his father Piney (Winston, William Lucking) dead at the cabin. Wayne Unser (Dayton Callie) had followed him to the cabin to tell him that his father died at the hands of Club President Clay Morrow (Ron Perlman). Opie then makes a beeline for the clubhouse with the intentions of killing Clay, after an angry confrontation with Jax (Teller, Charlie Hunnam).

“Terrible Tommy” by Ryan Horne played during this episode, and you’d think the music was hand selected to match the going on’s in each episode. The song was perfect for the episode, and led you deeper into the emotions Opie was experiencing at the time. It was soulful, unique, and profound.

Take a listen to the song below. We promise it’ll take you right back to that scene, where Opie found Piney’s lifeless body on the cabin floor. Let us know in the comments how much you love this song, too. Did you feel like you found Piney all over again? Did your hatred for Clay come right back up to the surface?
