Charlie Hunnam (Jackson “Jax” Teller, Sons of Anarchy) has been working underneath Brad Pitt and alongside Robert Pattinson for the past few months while filming yet another new movie, Lost City of Z. In the film, Hunnam portrays Percy Fawcett, an actual, real-life British archaeologist who in 1925 searched for the lost city (named Z) in Brazil’s Mato Grosso jungle region.
Co-star Robert Pattinson, who is mainly known for his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight series, portrays Corporal Henry Costin, a character that is also based on a real-life person. Costin had answered a newspaper advertisement published by Percy Fawcett back in 1910, where he’d requested a jungle adventure in Brazil, to search for the lost city of Z.
Hunnam and Pattinson recently wrapped filming for The Lost City of Z; which they filmed in two different locations – Belfast, Ireland and The Republic of Colombia. The two celebrated the close of filming by taking to Instagram to share photos of their success, and here at SOA Fanatic, we’re excited to be sharing those photos with you! Lost City of Z is scheduled to debut in theaters sometime in 2016 – tell us in the comments if you’re already planning a trip to the cinema for the movie!
