David Labrava is an American actor, writer, tattoo artist and member of the Hells Angels. He is best know for his portrayal of Happy Lowman on the hit television show Sons of Anarchy where he plays an assassin for the club.

He was first hired as a Technical Advisor on the show and later cast as a regular member of the club. Labrava approached Kurt Sutter and asked to be considered for a member of the cast. Kurt gave him a shot and he continued all the way to the end of the series. He has been with the show since its inception in 2008. Labrava also co-wrote Season 4, Episode 10, “Hands.”

Originally from Miami, Florida, Labrava is now resides in Oakland, California.

David loves surfing. He has surfed in over 8 countries including Indonesia, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica.

he also has a passion for writing having worked for several big motorcycle magazines including The Horse.

I feel Labrava has really grown as an actor. By the end of the series he came across as a much more season actor.
